1. Introduction

This Platform Usage Policy ("Policy") sets out the standards that apply when you use the News Studio platform and any of our services. News Studio is designed to empower newsrooms and professional organizations with AI-driven automation tools.

To ensure the integrity of our platform and the quality of content distributed, all users must adhere to these standards.

2. Acceptable Use

You may use our platform only for lawful purposes in accordance with these standards. You are expected to use the automation tools responsibly, ensuring that all distributed content meets professional journalistic standards.

3. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the Service:

• In any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.
• For the purpose of exploiting, harming, or attempting to exploit or harm minors in any way.
• To transmit, or procure the sending of, any advertising or promotional material, including "junk mail", "chain letters", "spam", or any other similar solicitation.
• To impersonate or attempt to impersonate News Studio, a News Studio employee, another user, or any other person or entity.
• To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by us, may harm News Studio or users of the Service or expose them to liability.
• To share misinformation, fake news, or deepfakes with the intent to deceive or manipulate public opinion.

4. Content Standards

These content standards apply to all User Content. Your content must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

User Content must not:

• Contain any material which is defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, offensive, harassing, violent, hateful, inflammatory, or otherwise objectionable.
• Promote sexually explicit or pornographic material, violence, or discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
• Infringe any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other intellectual property or other rights of any other person.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account. We are not liable for any losses caused by any unauthorized use of your account.

6. Automation & Rate Limits

To maintain platform stability, News Studio implements rate limits on automation triggers and API calls. You must not attempt to circumvent these limits through manual or automated means. Systemic attempts to "flood" the platform or external social channels may lead to immediate suspension.

7. Monitoring & Enforcement

We have the right to monitor platform usage to ensure compliance with this Policy. We reserve the right to:

• Remove or refuse to post any User Content for any or no reason in our sole discretion.
• Take any action with respect to any User Content that we deem necessary or appropriate.
• Disclose your identity or other information about you to any third party who claims that material posted by you violates their rights.
• Take appropriate legal action, including without limitation, referral to law enforcement, for any illegal or unauthorized use of the Service.
• Terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Service for any violation of this Policy.
